  • Kuzuko's twice daily game drives are a great way to discover all the special flora and fauna of our spectacular reserve. Although a Big Five reserve, the game drives are about much more than just that and the experienced guides love nothing more than to share their in-depth knowledge of all natures intricate and fascinating details. As the only lodge on a 35,000-acre reserve, Kuzuko has one of the lowest guest densities In South Africa ensuring all guests have an unrushed, personal and ethical wildlife experience. Game drives also include a coffee stop in the bush in the mornings, and a sundowner drink of your choice at one Kuzuko’s many spectacular viewpoints.

  • The tranquil spa is the perfect place to relax, unwind and forget the world. Kuzuko's trained therapists offer a range of treatments to suit your needs whether you’re looking for an invigorating salt scrub, relaxing facial, delicate manicure or blissful massage.

  • Hidden away in Kuzuko’s sandstone caves lies beautiful San rock art waiting to be discovered. These ancient ochre paintings, believed to be more than 400 years old, offer a tantalising link to South Africa’s first people. Join guides on a walk to the caves to learn about South Africa’s rich human and natural history and experience what life was like for the San people hundreds of years ago.

  • There’s no better way to experience nature than on your feet. Experienced guides will lead you on guided walk through the Hopewell section where, without the more dangerous wildlife around, you are free to get up close and personal with nature and revel in the details like the delicate quicksand trap of an ant lion. You may also bump into Hopewell’s resident giraffes who are always a pleasure to meet when on foot.

  • Kuzuko’s Hopewell section is a stunning valley outside the main game area with several trails and old farm tracks to discover. It’s a great place to stretch your legs, go for a hike or run, or simply sit upon a rock and enjoy the spectacular views. A guide will drop you down at Hopewell and arrange a time to collect you to return to the lodge after your walk.

  • If you’re looking for that extra something special to complete your Kuzuko safari, why not try the Private Dining experiences. Kuzuko offer romantic private breakfasts on our sunrise deck, private bush breakfasts, and romantic private dinners under the stars in our love spot.
